Loved it. Question- Why, if you have just cut up fresh ginger would you add powdered ginger at the end? You have fresh on hand. To disperse through the whole dish, maybe? Then press some ginger juice? Thanks for any insight on that.

Made these. Used tater tots as a base because that was what was in the freezer. Apparently they are salted so the 1 1/4 tsp of salt was way too much and ruined the entire thing. I think they would have been good, had they not tasted like a salt lick. next time...

I have seen ( Martha maybe?) cover books with Glassine. Since it is translucent you can still see your books but don't have to design around them.

Vellum would work just as well.

Williams Sonoma has great frozen ones- in chocolate, standard and mini. Same thaw the night before and bake in the morning. They area family tradition for Christmas. Bet Trader Joes are cheaper!
