How is this new? We've had desks that adjust to standing where I work for the 7 years I've been here, and they weren't new when I started.

When we moved to a new building we got L-shaped desks w/upper cabinets that also move, so if you want to stand up, your whole cubicle basicaly goes with you, walls and all. Much cooler than it sounds (:

I will say, they are awesome and I would have one at home if I could find one a little more decor/space friendly.

Anyone else remember the cue cat? We got two sent to us...one from Wired & one from the Dallas Morning News so we could scan barcodes in articles that would take us to web content. I thought it was cool, but I was 12... (:

And even then, I only remember using it 2 or 3 times.

That having been said, I could see this actually being useful now as a smartphone app.

The set from costco has 9 different containers w/ lids and is less than $30. You can also get individual containers at Bed Bath & Beyond, but they're $5 - $12 apiece. Still worth it, especially for the larger containers.

Great article! I've always wondered about white pepper.

However, Brazilian Pepper is INVASIVE in Florida, not ornamental. There are several counties (that I know of...)w/eradication ordinances, meaning owners of improved and unimproved properties must remove it. And it is a PAIN to get rid of... this stuff is a menace.

I agree w/all above, Mag Mud is yummy! I haven't been in a while, and I can't find it on their online menu, but my favorite was actually the Edward's queso. I seem to remember queso w/ loads of fresh pico ,avocado & other vegetables (squash, etc..)

Austin has the queso/avocado thing down to a science. Besides the Kerby Queso, Kerby also has a dish called Eggs Francisco (english muffin, bacon, scrambled egg, slice of tomato & avocado slices all topped w/excellent queso in lieu of hollandaise) Would this kill you if you ate it on a day-to-day basis? Yes. It would probably be worth it, though.

Oh yeah, both Kerby and Magnolia are open 24/7 ( : I love Austin!

Wow! That is really gorgeous. My slow cooker is tiny and nowhere near as pretty. Great giveaway...who would have thought that there was such a thing as crock-pot envy!
