Don't miss their red rice ale or sweet lacto stout either! Great stuff.

I'm all for food safety, and I wouldn't argue with anyone about taking extra precaution with chicken, but it just makes me wonder how all our previous generations survived if this is such a horrific issue. I know for a fact my parents and grandparents paid no special attention to how they handled chicken and I don't recall anyone in my family ever dying from or even having salmonella. Is factory farmed modern chicken at more of a risk for this sort of thing? Is that the issue? Or are we just more sensitive to it because of the 6 o'clock news expose mentality surrounding health issues similar to this one ?

The Big Green egg is getting a lot of press these days! Having had one for several years now I would suggest that even a family of 2 should go with the Large, not the medium. Especially important when you want to go to town on a brisket or pork but!

If you don't mind moral grey areas - you could buy a scanner with a document feeder from best buy and return it within 30 days. Of course, this requires some heavy rationalization on your part.

Rebecca - I'd also go with craigslist if I were you. I've owned 3 Ikea couches in 5 years and they have all either had something break (legs, arms), the cushions have lost their spring, or the fabric/leather has gotten raggedy. They have some attractive and inexpensive options but not worth it IMO. Granted I am a big guy and put more wear and tear on them than small people, but in the end, the money I spent on those 3 couches could have paid for a nice solid couch that would last a much longer time.

I love my Big Green Egg! It's a very versatile system for direct/indirect grilling and smoking as well. precise temp control between low 100's and 850! degrees, small footprint, incredibly efficient in its charcoal use, and somewhat of a conversation piece for entertaining. Just don't buy it at Williams-Sonoma as they over-charge about 150 bucks for it. I got mine locally at Floribunda in Oswego - long drive from downtown, but great prices if youre ever out that way.

Get the lemon sized one. I have had no problems using it for lemons, limes and even most oranges! no need for multiple sizes unless you have space you're trying to clutter.

One note abut the adirondack stuff at Cost-plus. It IS cheap for sure. My wife and I bought 2 adirondack chairs and stools there (99 for the chair, 39 for the stools) and one of the chairs promptly broke after assembly. In my opinion, they are pretty nice looking, but poorly constructed.
