LEGO needed to design sets that were geared towards girls. They were really lacking in that category! Most of the there sets and series are for boys! But I wish they didn't have to create a different minifigures for the Friends theme. They should have stuck with the traditional LEGO minifigures. Girls already have a hard enough time dealing with being skinny, etc. So why encourage by changing minifigures to be these tall skinny girls?! I think that is a big mistake. LEGO Friends: Yay or Nay? feels great to start fresh and have new outlooks!!!! the apartment looks great especially with the BIG challenge of being small. i completely disagree that it is messy. small, cozy places tend to have a little mess because of lack storage to hide all your belongings. but when you have nice things, why not just have them out in the open! btw, i love lulu's cozy little bed :) it looks perfect for a little girl! lulu is a beautiful! i wish you the best of luck!! i can't wait to see your new place! i also look forward to seeing more post from you! i find it impossible to work with my 2.5 year old at home with me. she seems to require almost constant attention. when she sees me in front of my laptop, she wants to get on it too. the 2 hour nap is great, but can't get everything done in 2 hours. i believe it could wirj for some children who can create structure and direction on their own. but there are some children who require structure and direction from educators, otherwise they won't know what to do. i don't think the age of the children is really a factor. It is your own home, so you should do what you want with it. But I would say there's a fine line of over doing it with too many personal photos or huge poster size photos. I have two little girls and I love having photos of family members so they can see them and remember who they are (especially family members that live far away and rarely see).
