it was originally a beige room divider from one of those online sample sale sites. I spray-painted it gold with Montana Gold (you can google it and order online from many places, it's like $10). I've had dishwashers in my NY apartments for the last several years and NEVER used any of them. When I graduated from college, I decided it was a good idea to LEARN TO LOVE CLEANING.
