The idea behind it is great, actually. Rabbit is one of the most sustainable sources of meat, and I believe one should use every part of the animal if it's going to be killed for food. However, I think that they should be selling the fur to fashion retailers so that we can finally put an end to the brutal deaths of animals raised for their fur (for example raccoon dogs in China, which are skinned alive for those fur-trimmed coats everyone wears around here). Also because this just looks sloppy and ugly.

I would change out that handrail, and I agree the peach has to go. But why not all white? It would keep everything really bright and open feeling.

PS - Love Jill Bliss :)

Oh the memories! Before I could properly say "noodle", I used to call this tuna nuna. Loved it growing up, and would love to try this recipe. However, I stopped eating fish years ago because of overfishing- so any tuna substitute ideas? I suppose I could just omit the fish, but that would be too boring!

I actually did most of that already on Tuesday when the boyfriend and I had a late night cleaning itch.

The only thing I haven't tackled yet are our trash cans. We live in Germany and separate almost everything. In an effort to seriously minimize plastic waste, I decided we could forgo trash bags. Now our trash cans (particularly the compost container) are pretty filthy and starting to stink. I really have no desire to get my hands (and nose) anywhere near the inside of those nasty bins, but I know I have to. Tomorrow it will get done!

On a side note - does anyone have any recommendations on plastic trash bag alternatives so I NEVER have to do this again?

I'm all for making the bed, but I have to let the sheets/blankets air out before I make it in the morning. People sweat at night and that moisture gets trapped under the sheets otherwise and can seep into the mattress. I let everything air out while I'm doing my morning ablutions and make it right before leaving home.

People have been falling down stairs for centuries. Probably since stairs were invented. That being said, as an adult I have only ever fallen down carpeted stairs, and I climb a lot of wooden/stone stairs on a daily basis.

I've never injured myself falling down wooden stairs, but I have slipped barefoot down one carpeted stair and managed to land directly on the tip of my big toe, simultaneously dislocating the joint and tearing the tendon. I had to use crutches for 4 months while it healed.
