The etagere was a total find from a local interior designer (www.maison21.com), it's my treasure piece! (And Christian, I'm ever-so thankful you let it go!). The curtains in the living room are actually Ikea! The vinyl boxes are actually from a company in the UK, but I'll find the link and post here once I dig it up.

Totally appreciate the constructive tips as well! Sometimes I, too, feel like it needs to be unbuttoned a bit. I think that will come in time, once settled into the house a bit more. And we are painting all four walls in the bedroom! We started with two, nervous that it might be too overpowering with all four, but definitely agree that it will look much nicer.

Thanks so much everyone! The paint is called Dark Shadows from Dunn-Edwards, and I'm absolutely obsessed with it. So moody and lush! The sofas are from Hold It, a store in San Diego (but I believe they sell online too). xx
