I like the new color on the wood, but not the new fabric so much. Unless there are impossible stains or the fabric is worn out, I tend to avoid reupholstering.

I'm a big fan of the site, but why do you guys delete comments? If you can admit to your mistakes and explain yourself, why not just leave the comments up?

I think there is a problem if you're getting a gift for a child that is more for yourself or for another parent. Some of these toys ARE classic and timeless that children will of course love, but some? No so much. Why get your child a play rotary phone for example?

That coffee table is gorgeous. I'd love to see a bit more earthy/rustic artwork/accessories to pair with it. But what a great space and a real improvement.

I like it. Anything bright or exciting is good for children. It actually annoys me a bit when I see these dull or subtle color choices chosen by parents for their children. Kids need to be stimulated -- their rooms are their spaces, it should be about them.

EstherH -- they're fries, not frites. There is no difference in the cooking process between fries and frites. What you're doing would be like calling cheese fromage simply because it sounds fancier. It's silly.

Looks great, but could use a bit more color, especially for a child. The stimulus is good for their development.

Cost doesn’t correlate with quality. Shop around for mid-range couches and I’m sure you’ll luck out. No sense in buying an expensive couch just to shroud it with a slip cover.
