I have no real suggestions to add but my gosh... what is wrong with asking for advice from a board full of people who have such excellent ideas?!?! I'm a design professional and YES, sometimes I need help coming up with ideas and YES I always ask others because asking and getting better ideas is better than not asking and coming up with something boring (because maybe it just isn't your style, or you're just stuck on that one problem). I would hope that someone I pay to do work for me would exhaust every option available. The people who post here always have such great ideas...why NOT ask!?! Sassy; I have Toy Poodle, Amazing Lace and Passage Way. I would assume that any of them (or any rug at all for that matter) would not hold up to being used as a scratching post. Passage Way was the one my cat chose to use, and I think that had more to do with it's location than the kind of carpet itsef. None of the tiles have been damaged by "normal" cat claw use like running or playing. He still only used one tile though, so I'm out $16.99 instead of $600! I have used 3 different types of FLOR tiles and they have all held up very well. I have pets, so they make it very easy to wash (or replace) the tiles individually from spills or pet accidents. The only one that has been a problem is the one the cat used as a scratching post. It does not hold up well to being used as a scratching post ;) Look! : AT'ers Helped Make This Beautiful Room |

This is very inspiring to someone with a small office. Very well done, well organized and well lit on a reasonable design budget. #12 Edward's Small But Tall Home Office |
