lcd screens don't burn in anymore so "screensaver" is sort of a misnomer anyway. I have all my computers set to turn off after 5-10 minutes rather than using a screen saver. I think it's a great idea, but I don't know about it paying for itself. Most of my remotes require a battery change maybe once or twice a year at $1-2 worth of batteries at most. Apartment Therapy Unplugged | Green Idea: Wind Up Remote Control |
