I know this is true. But it's also a lot easier on a bright and sunny summer morning vs. cool and dark Autumn snuggly under warm covers. A Morning Ritual Challenge |

I really enjoyed this tour since I live in a 112 year old house bordering between Victorian and American Four Square styles. I likewise have warm toned original non-painted wood and similiar windows and sometimes struggle with paint color and window coverings that are so not cool but respect the house. Very pretty, never doable for a family with a lab and one year old whose style is more fisher price and dog crates but enjoyable and gave me great ideas nonetheless. If I was rich, a master suite with separate baths would be waayyy up on the list. Right now I just dream of separate sinks... Couples with Separate Bathrooms |

I am absolutely cringing at the recommendation to let the baby sleep in the car seat when not in the car. This is very unsafe! When locked in the car seat base or stroller base, the car seat is kept at the proper angle for baby's windpipe. When not locked in, the baby can slump down, constricting the windpipe and leading to suffocation. I'll admit to letting my little one have the occasional car seat nap rather than waking her up upon arrival but this really should only be done under close supervision. A car seat is not safe substitute for a daytime sleeping location. Avoiding the Avalanche of Baby "Must Haves" |
