Love the artwork how neatly your books/glasses and other are displayed on the shelves. The place is bright and airy not stuffy or cramped at all. Nicely done. Love this entry!

A lovely vintage styled home. Marianne I'd loved to know what color paint you used in the dressing room? And also the living/kitchen area? Maybe it's my computer but the color appears a very faint subtle blue? Thanks!

@ snowflake, I make mine Puerto style too. I follow the same directions and use diced calabaza and a small potato. I also add red wine, garlic and a lil cilantrito, and thinly sliced sweet roasted red peppers and Spanish style olives. In the end I add tomato sauce and olive oil. Also, & most importantly, about a tablespoon or two of homemade Sofrito for flavor. I serve it over white rice.

I've never actually been drawn to a kitchen that is larger than my entire apartment or is equipped w/shiny new expensive appliances I can't afford & possibly would avoid purchasing if I could. I love an imperfect kitchen! My eye is naturally drawn to them and how cozy and warm and filled w/love and great stories of wonderful meals for close friends/family. I love my kitchen and it's much smaller than yours but has just as much charm and warmth! Thank you so much for sharing!

I love house tours on A.T. One of the reasons I visit daily since like forever. I love all the different styles of homes/designs and the people who live in and decorate them. I get ideas here and there and have a few favorite tours! That said, I've never ever read so many negative and critical comments on one particular tour. I've seen quite a few tours with large closets or rooms converted into closets, with the homeowners/renters photographed in them. Some displaying their rather expensive designer clothing & tons of compliments and swoons. Closet envy? There have been in the past negative responses to house tours and I've never quite understood how folks can be so cruel and critical when these folks are simply sharing their spaces w/us?! I can't imagine every single house tour being identical to, what a complete bore... I like seeing the homeowners knowing more about them. Sai, thanks for sharing your home here. I enjoyed your home and reading your blog! Like someone pointed out, fashion is Art and you have quite a closet full of! I can only wish ;)

Scuttled Cuttie, I also thought there were so many other contestants that I'd of wished made it to finalist. However, I happen to like this nursery and the color choices. If I had to vote and I have it was for this room because although the color isn't cherry or bright it is intense & quite beautiful.
Well good luck!

I didn't get a beachy feeling with the color choices, but I did with the accessories and the artwork above the sofa. Your home is beautiful and I love your color choices! Gorgeous!
