now, semi-divine, i don't remember the original poster saying she was worried about 'a slight waft of smoke.' last time i checked, smokers are addicts that must smoke on the hour/ten minute mark, etc. i for one don't live in a big city. i live in aspen, colorado. if someone smoked very close to me like that i would let them know in a hot minute. thank god it's been a non-smoking state for 2 years now. we are always ahead of the curve. call me smug!

have a look-see how they get new zealand wool. it's disgusting. otherwise, my first thought was OOOH COOL! something that doesn't look like it's right off the ikea assembly line.

i always have to laugh at our own HOTEL JEROME here in aspen... they have these signs now in the rooms- 'we want to be eco-conscious, so if you don't need your bed linens washed, flip this sign over' or something to that effect... as they employ a fleet of no less than 8 suburbans to drive guests all over the city- oftentimes to denver airport. sheesh.

i agree with hdtex.... you think how bush handled this mess was bad... mcpain's just another clueless wealthy person.

i think it's great. cute! ...and i didn't even grow up in a trailer. does everything have to look like HGTV to get good ratings?? c'mon!

i would save my dog & screw everything and anything else. the fact that some of the posters mentioned that a pet wasn't important enough kind of shocks me- my dog isn't like my child- she IS my child. and i'll be damned if i'd leave without her to let her perish in a fire. take that.

i'm sure i will die a slow painful death without at least a few of these vases. i am *smitten!*
