Yep, gorgeous!

My extended family actually sends me home from family gatherings with any leftover ham bones (sometimes a turkey carcass!) knowing that I'm all about the soup!

I think there is genuine merit to a good critique. And its a good challenge to couch it politely and constructively.

I agree the house is darling; it has great potential.

LOVE hardwood floors. Anybody who has ever pulled up some wall-to-wall carpeting can attest that stuff holds onto tons of dirt. Hardwood seems infinitely cleaner. And "cold" works for lots of us in warmer climates; its not as cold as tile!

I like the industrial looking table and the pendant. But the design of this room isn't really reading "farmhouse" or "cozy." Maybe its antique desk seat along with the black chair? There's very nice things about it, but its muddled. I do think the round table shape worked better.

I agree...one of the best ever in the before and after department!

I'd call this style "Well-traveled grown-ups with a sense of humor." ;-)

Anyway, I enjoyed the recycled house tour!

I like his sensibility, but I can't quite wrap my head around that bedroom...hate that the bed is pushed up against the wall, but perhaps I just think that it'd be a pain to put sheets on it!
Otherwise, I think this is excellent support for my theory that thrifting combined with discipline can yield some pretty spectacular results.
