I live in SF and have the EXACT same floor plan. This place is really inspiring me to paint and to move some furniture around. At a minimum, I think I'll be turning our sunroom into an office, too. Best of luck with the move to Marin! Sorry you're leaving the City.

Wow. I used to have a rental and it did NOT look half as good. Guess that's why I'm not an interior decorator/designer. I like the mix of furniture (those "undone" dining chairs are awesome) and think it's very welcoming. I live in SF and will be keeping my eyes posted for the in-situ garage sale. ;)

Really nice. I love the wall color. Also, it is a good blend of modern/traditional (something my husband and I are working on, too...). Well done and I hope it sells. :)

Wow. Having just finished a kitchen project myself, I am really impressed. I love the color you chose for the cabinets - all in all really lovely. I don't understand the negative comments (some posts just seem to attract cranky people, with no obvious rhyme or reason) as this is a nice project for a reasonable amount of money. I look forward to seeing what you guys do with the house in the future. Enjoy your 2 months of travel. Thanks for sharing!

I love the stone(?) floors and the tile in the kitchen. It must be kind of hard to decorate such a modern home if that isn't 100% your style, but you've done a great job. I really like the guest room/room with pinky-peach artwork. Thanks for sharing!

What a peaceful apartment. It reminds me a bit of a pottery barn/williams sonoma catalog, but in a good way. I wish my house were as clean/edited and so well put together. I love SF apartments that still have the original detailing. My only "huh?" is the picture of the wellingtons/rain boots. That's a very Rue/Lonny thing that is getting kinda old. Maybe I'm just grumpy. Really I do love this apartment and tagged a bunch of photos as inspiration. Thanks for sharing Kirstyn!

Great home! I really like the well-edited choices and the smart paint color choices. Really inspiring! Thanks for sharing. I am a bit jealous... in a good way. :)

Looks great! I wish I had the ability to edit and create such a calm feeling in my own home (it's a bit more chaotic... and no kids or pets!). A great SF apartment! I live in the Inner Richmond and our place doesn't have the same great architectural details. Thanks for sharing!

Balderdash. Especially with a group of friends that are clever and witty - you will laugh and laugh and laugh. :)

As a fellow SF resident, I have to say that is one of the best decorated studios I've seen. Awesome bathroom. My studio apt. never looked half as nice. The orange bedding is a nice bright spot of color... might have to go check out West Elm. :)

I love the island in the kitchen - very cool. Also, the dining room is really lovely. Very warm and inviting. I get the bohemian vibe. It'll be fun to see how this place evolves over time. Thanks for sharing!

Dude, how is it that you (Apartment Therapy) and Design Sponge post about the same stuff on the same day all of the time? Love both sites, but it seems as if you guys are ripping each other off. (Or is somebody sending you press releases/product launches at the same time?)

I really like all of the furniture - some very cool pieces. This house is hip. I love the kids' room. The first picture makes it look like all of the furniture is squeezed onto the white rug - I would pull it out a big to make it look more spacious. Or are you creating a "wall" to keep the dogs/kids away from the stuff on the coffee table? Still - cool house.

I'm impressed. No way could I cook for 18 on a (semi) regular basis. Seems as if this works well for this house and it's nice to see a different kitchen tour. Also glad I'm not in college anymore. I'm too OCD.

The exterior/gardens are amazing. I am in love with the back patio area. So beautiful - it makes my little barren back terrace so jealous.
