I second Diethood on the French Toast front.
I usually make a big batch and then freeze the leftovers.
In the AM pop a few slices into the toaster and you're good to go.

My mum always is always running around cleaning and picking up just as we're headed out the door. I just realized that i've been doing it too! "o, it's just one thing! it'll be nicer when we get home if i do it now."
My boyfriend has started singing a song called "everyone's waiting on Amy"

Home ec wasn't offered when i was in high school or middle school. I always wished we had the option.
I think most students would appreciate a break in the day where they'd have an opportunity to do hands on work, plus, the vast majority of ppl i know have no idea how to sew or cook.

My boyfriend took "Creative Foods" in high school and still uses skills he learned then. He won't eat a pancake but he can sure make a good one for me when I'm feeling down.

I don't think it's a "girl" class the way it might have been perceived decades ago. If food is involved just about anyone will take part.

I'm amazed that two people can run two businesses from one computer and one desk.
i can barely stand to share a computer for checking email.
Must be two very patient people.

A friend came to stay for the New Year's holiday and he brought his own towels. I was pretty offended. "What, you think i have dirty towels? My towels arent good enough for you?"
He said that most of his other friends don't have more than one towel.
I know it shouldn't bother me. But after cleaning my house and doing laundry to make sure there were clean sheets and towels... i felt like my efforts were wasted.

Water heaters dont belong on the 4th floor. When they break the ruin the paint on the 3rd floor.

We've got some painting to do and this would be a huge help!

This might be better than my constant nagging.
My parents go through cases of bottled water every week, perhaps this could help.

i guess i live a bit more of a bohemian lifestyle. I want my friends to come visit and i definitely believe in "the more the merrier".
I love having the guest room couches and floor covered in people.

My bf and i are always playing host to friends for whatever length of time that they need/want. It makes me happy when my friends feel comfortable enough to stay a while.

The India Rose bag inspires me to go find my first communion dress and sew up the lining to make a bag.

Last week in my office (which was originally a textile mill) i found a bunch of sewing machine needles between the floorboards. I keep seeing them in the gaps int eh floors now. I pull up all the ones that are sticking out. I pulled out 5 needles and a ball bearing so far.

My bedroom is in an attic w/ just two slanted walls. Once we tucked the bed under the slanted bed most of the head banging stopped (I'm 5'10" and my bf is 6'2").
The views from bed are great through my roof window. But bad weather just a few feet from your face can cause nightmares.
At first I thought it was awesome that the closets were tucked in the corners where the dormers are but now I dread hunching down under the beams to get into my closets... I still contend that it would be perfect for little kids.

I grew up with a drawer like this on the wall in the kitchen.
Whenever my mom found a small toy lying around it became art... which was annoying cus I kept losing toys.
My Dad hated it cus he thought it was too cluttered looking.

I Love it and I wish I had one of my own!

I think it's very beautiful but the collapsing functionality is somewhat lost on me.

What's the point? When it's collapsed it's just a huge block of wood that has some nice structural details.

The "awful," "ridiculous," "crazy," V-shaped one was at least functional in both modes.

I work for a company that makes composting toilets and designs greywater systems. If we sell 10 greywater systems in a year it's a big year. We've found that there are only a handful of states that have regulations about greywater and as a result local authorities are so unfamiliar with them that they won't grant permits at all.

The pig table could work but it's a stretch.

THe horse just creeps me out. Not sure why.
