I agree that the bed needs pillows. As a guest room you want it to look super-comfy.
Also i agree that its too much beige. you need a bold color.
Actually the first thing i noticed is that there are no draperies. If you're dead set on keeping the wallpaper, why not add a bold, rich set of drapes - in dark eggplant or another rich purple. You could probably find something in your budget at Target or Ikea even, and get some throw pillows for the bed, that have complementing purple/lavender colors.
Finally, on the desk, the "staging" with the 3 stacks of books is a bit dull. why not move the lamp back to the side table, under the mirror, and put the vase (or a larger, brighter vase?)and buddha on the desk there?

i actually like the clouds compared to all of the stark white walls in the room. but if you dont like it, how about doing a metallic paint? gold or bronze or something?

I have walked by this place a million times and wondered what was inside. i didn't realize it is now a B&B, pretty cool.

yeah i love this one the most. it is by far the most dramatic of the bunch, and absolutely perfect for the "worldly urbanist" it is said to be designed for.

i i am absolutely on the "YES to arranging books by color" side, especially when you have that many books on such an important wall. The incorporation of the TV overall is well done, and the blue background helps to define the area even better.

I bought the above rug also in "chocolate" a few months ago from overstock. i love it and everyone comments on it.
you cannot beat that deal...
