So it's $40, without the $30 30 pin to lightning connector?

This guy has one for $15 that does the same thing.

Or you could buy a lightning dock for less.

@ctpnruthless: are those prints from etsy or society6? I'd love to get the seller name from you. I want one for my office.

I did not like the Light Red or the Ripe Rouge. I found the tastes offputting, but the Crisp White was good. I guess it was probably because it's the sweetest one. :/

My iPad hasn't made me forsake my living room TV, but my laptop sits unused more often than it used to. Like the responses above, it sits unused except for demanding tasks, in my case photo editing, or if the gf is using the iPad.

I do my web browsing and email reading on the iPad. I stopped playing video games on a regular basis w/ my Dreamcast in college, but now I play video games for nearly an hour a day on the iPad. I'll also sit and game longer than I did with Angry Birds,Flight Control or Carcassonne on my iPhone.

The one way an iPad has replaced a TV is the need to have one in my bedroom. If I want to watch something in bed, I'll grab the iPad. I haven't had a sick day with it yet, but it'll probably be spent watching netflix in bed, rather than on the couch watching cable (or netflix there)

it's all well and good that they make small washers, but for most apartments in this area ( Los Angeles) getting the water hoses and everything *to* the washer would be the biggest hassle.

I steam my eggs to hard. They always turn out perfectly yellow, no green rings. about 20 minutes of steaming for 8-12 eggs.

let your eggs sit on the counter for a little bit, to take the fridge chill off them before steaming.

Live sports is my dealbreaker. I did no cable for 3 months, it was great. Watched a TON of netflix stuff I wanted to catch up on. BUT, then the world cup started, then it was football season a month later, now it's basketball AND football season.

Pretty much the only time I don't care about having cable is when it's only baseball, and that really June through August. I like baseball, but I don't watch it like I do football and basketball.

I made the sweet potato and sage gratin last year, and it was a hit. My sister and mom already requested I make it again.

at home I have iWork if I really need it, but use Google Docs on the rare occasion I need some sort of word processing or spreadsheeting that is more advanced than a plain text file.

At work I have Open Office on Linux.

The only time I ever have to mess with MS Office is if my girlfriend needs help with Excel.

Never noticed any offputting smells.

my grandmother used to make it in stew. I always get it at taquerias here in Los Angeles. It's my barometer on how good the place is.

I've never actually made it myself. I might have to try the crockpot method, or the sear then braise method. Both sound good.

I'm with EvaToad. I don't know what it is, but everything takes me forever in the kitchen. I don't mind it, if I'm doing something ahead of time, but trying to make dinner on a Sunday took me forever last night. Chopping, prepping are my biggests wastes of time, I guess.

Mine has an ethernet port, and a couple of USB ports. I could do youtube if I plugged in the cable, but I didn't like the interface. and I already have 1 ethernet cable running to the blu-ray. The USB port is handy for watching dowloaded things.

I was sad that I couldn't plug my iphone or an ipod in and have it play music through the tv speakers.

I'm making a guess with no data to support, but I'm going with yes, it's a product of the US because it was seasoned and processed (sorted, bagged, shipped) here. It needs to be a product of somewhere, right?

I'm also guessing they put the country of harvest on there so consumers know what ocean/region it came from. Some fish are plentiful in some areas and scarce in others, the way I understand it.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong ;)

I was disappointed that the frizzled shallots weren't bacon, once I read the recipe. My co-worker and I thought it was bacon from the first picture, or we just really wanted it to be :)

I'm not surprised.

I can't imagine many people are, except maybe the corn industry with their SNL parody-like commercials defending the virtues of HFCS.
