But the photos above are much prettier than the bleachers in the gymnasiums.

Actually, the stairs in those photos remind me of the bleachers I still see in gymnasiums.

Eeek...

If it is cold outside where you live, instead of the freezer you can hang your jeans, shirt, etc. outside for a few hours or overnight. I have done this with my winter coats and jeans to get the smoky smell out of them after being somewhere smoky. It works so well! They smell so fresh and so clean:)

I love the use of the door with the window in the kitchen and the large window pane/window frames (?) in the work space...my only question is how do they hang those items?

Love this!! This is my favorite house tour in a LONG time!! I love the chair and table at the end of the bed...I currently have a expedit shelf (8 squares), sitting a couple feet from the end of my bed, but I think I am going try a chair and table - LOVE IT!

I loved this post! It inspired me to decorate my 8 ft ladder -...it actually looks pretty cool - better than sitting in the corner of my loft. I think it helps use some of the "up-space" (is that even a term - I know there is up-lighting...). I never would've been able to get an eight foot Christmas tree into my apartment by myself and keep my dog out of the water dish for the period it was up... It is industrial-chic.

Thanks Michelle! That looks gorgeous - I definitely am going to use your place for inspiration. I love how you used leftover fabric from a throw blanket to cover the foam and the ikea ottomans - great idea. Your living room look so relaxing and welcoming - and the colors are great.

She is the governor of Alaska - the animals are great. I am not so sure about that pillow; maybe the flower in the pattern is the state flower of Alaska...? I really hope so.

This is so amazing!!!! I never believed it would work like it does in the photos, but it really does. I used it on my two english cocker spaniels. One was keen on it immediately. The other took a little time to warm up to the furminator. They were shedding so much in the winter, probably because they weren't outside and didn't need the thick coat they grew (i could be totally wrong on that...), anyway it really helped to get the undercoat gone...and they looked so much healthier and happier afterwards; with all of that itchy extra hair gone that wasn't attached to them anyway.

LED lights add so much to an outdoor, or even indoor setting. I love how they are strung in the outdoor photo above...it really adds a soothing & tranquil vibe to the patio.

Another great place to find LED lights is a company called HolidayLEDS - online at: http://www.holidayleds.com/
My mom purchased some from there last year and twisted them around metal stars she had welded together...she also did some sweet things with wire, making it into a globe, then wrapped the lights around the wire.....pretty crafty. HolidayLEDS even has a program to recycle your old incandescent Christmas lights...send em' to them, and they do the rest, for free; even better, they throw in a coupon for their LED lights.

Your place is beautiful! It is providing some much needed inspiration for me that I plan on channeling to pep up my new place. Your outdoor space looks so chill and inviting. Another highlight for me is the "I must not talk" framed on the wall - what a great idea - and everything you framed looks so clean and precise - nice work. The bright colors make everything look so fresh. Where did you get those lanterns?? Urban Outfitters? I have been looking for some lanterns similar to the ones you have.

Thank you so much for letting AT into your home!
