I am of African descent (not African-American) and considered for two seconds whether or not I should be offended by the inclusion of Zoulou (which presumably is French for “Zulu”). I decided I was not. The image is in no way offensive or degrading and I don’t see why it shouldn’t be included. Should all “Ingrids” and “Xaviers” also be offended if they look nothing like the girl and boy pictured in the illustration? It’s a stylised depiction people! I can't imagine living somewhere and not letting the light in - how depressing! I often pass houses which are all closed up and wonder who lives there. Perhaps you could install that film which you apply to the glass, either over the entire window or to a height which would allow you some privacy. I am with miss nita on this one. I see so many places which look great, but the bathroom is too far away from the bedroom/clothes storage for this to make sense and would totally drive me crazy. It's nice not to have guests trek through your bedroom but to have bedroom and bathroom on opposite ends does not work for me. That and the lack of clothes storage would never do! I bought this and loved it. Hated some of the other designs out there - checks, frills, awful colours. You can’t beat the price and the tray pops right off which makes for easy cleaning. It looked great with our decor. We never seemed to have a problem with the comfort issue, but I guess I never left my child in there for hours on end. I would definitely buy it again.
