I love this house, i agree about it being a "dream house" like daily proof said. I see the soul of an artist here, someone who is passionate and not afraid to do what they love, and live with what they love. As for the Giant Jesus, its no more offinsive than The Buddah in the bathtub...but its a personal observation,just my humble opinion. I'd really like a washer that I didn't have to climb into to pull laundry out of, same with the dryer. (I'm tall with a bad back.) I'd also like higher kitchen counters so I'm not stooped over them when I'm cooking-I know they're available, but it's expensive! I don't mind the subject, it's the way that they are presented as a "photo" and should, maybe, be called a "digital image." (But if I stand up on that soap box I might not get down.) My mom sew and quilts. This post makes me happy knowing that other people are into quilting, because Mom is afraid the craft will die out with her! (I make a mess of the whole quilting thing!) I'd like to move things about more often, but since I moved in to my home, I found out my dog's going blind. He, understandably, freaks out and has a hard time adjusting to the new layout. Being a "city girl" this lifestyle is a little outta my league, but you get a big thumbs up for being able to brave the great outdoors! I can relate to the whole being allergic to pollen thing, so I grow plants that don't or rarely flower. Jade plants are "kill proof." It was the first plant I was able to keep alive--after an uncle told me to neglect it until the leaves become "soft", then water generously. It's still alive and beautiful after 4 years! I have an old radio cabinet turned desk (at some point the radio bits were taken out) I use all the time, that came from my moms side of the fam.
