You were right, it is hard not to be jealous of Knoxy. :D I'm in Austin and my place is about 100 sq. ft larger and sadly not a third as stylish as Knoxy and Edie's place.

Unfortunately Freecycle in Austin, Texas can be a bit highbrow. I had a few things to give away and they rejected my request to join - no reason given.
I was able to give the items freely to other organizations.

If you're in Austin I suggest Alfaro's. I've had them do three pieces of furniture and I highly recommend them. It's a local business, pretty much a 'mom and pop' operation and they are amazing, fair, and helpful.

Love this place and the kitties are an added bonus. As someone living in Austin with cats I appreciate the clean lines of their place and that the cats are part of the family.

Also, it's clear that the black and white kitty runs the house.

I love the whale wall paper and use of curtains on the patio. Leslie and Raincheck have a lovely home. Great use of the patio space especially.

Love the balcony with the dog and cat and the patio built from pallets.
