My husband and I currently live in the best rental either of us has ever lived in... A recently renovated one bedroom, third floor apartment in the Oakleigh Garden neighborhood of Mobile. The neighborhood is gorgeous, with greenery and oak trees lining the streets and a nice shady park a block away. There are exposed brick walls in the living room and office, and it's definitely a bonus to have a super nice landlord. Of course there are little things that bug us, but every single day I think about how much I love this apartment and it makes me feel really, really good about things. I love their mantra of have less, do more. Many times I get lost in what 'stuff' I want, or have, and one day I will look around and say, 'Wow I have TOO much already.'
