So glad to know I'm not the only one. In fact, sometimes the car is the only place I CAN cry, even if I want to. I just get a better cry in the car- sloppy and ridiculous. Then I clean up my face, step out of the car and, voila!, I'm back to stoic me. City Stress: Crying in the Car |

I agree with your gut reaction- the silver grey of the tiles seems to blend with the cabinets and make the counter pink pop- which is something I get the impression you don't want to do. How about a white painted tin ceiling tile? That would tie in with the white appliances and be much cheaper than the tile, I think. Is This Backsplash Makeover Worth the Effort? |

We installed a tankless in our renovation and love it. Our gas bills are HALF of what they were before the renovation. I really didn't expect to see such a dramatic change in cost!
