@Miran -- not quiet the same as having the switch right at the outlet, but I saw a Belkin product at home depot that is a power strip with a remote on/off switch. Here is a link to it on Amazon:

I love looking at the small kitchens in this contest and I always think "wow. these people don't know small." All of these kitchens look HUGE to me, compared to my tiny kitchen. :)

Ech. No. I hate that my MacBook is white. I feel like Apple thinks that everyone who owns their products must live in minimalist, postmodern homes with no children.

I bought the lemon verbena anti bac cleaner. It does not smell remotely like lemon verbena, in fact, it smells not entirely unlike oregano.

It also caused my husband to have an asthma attack.

Be aware that many of those plants are toxic or mildly toxic to pets...

I have a hamper like that that I bought at Ikea for about $10. I am not sure if they carry it any longer, I couldn't find it on their website.

I use tempurpedic pillows. Any tips on how to clean them?

My husband has horrible pet allergies, clearly I am trying to kill him, since we have two cats and I dog. We have come up with a few solutions over the years, we have a furminator brush and they all get brushed down weekly and after brushing, they get a spray down with Natures Miracle pet dander remover. Eeeeeeverything gets vacuumed once a week too. OH, also, I have recently started adding raw food to the pets diets, that is supposed to help with pet allergies as well.

I also put a light weight throw over the bed in the morning after I get up. I would have to hobble my pets to keep them off my bed...

Just as a side note, you shouldn't have to wash a 100% wool sweater all that often. One of the magical properties of wool is that you can hang it up in a bathroom or your laundry room to air out and any body odors you left on your sweater should go away. I'm not to embarrassed to admit that I have several sweaters that i have never washed. A believe me, my friends would tell me if I smelled bad. ;)

Another reason you sweaters probably still feel wet when you put it on is because wool can absorb up to 50% of its weight in water before feeling wet, so probably just touching it, it feels dry.

I bought one for cheap from omahavaccine.com. I got a med sized one that I could use on my three cats & my lab mix. It is one of the most amazing products I have ever purchased for my pets!
