To AT: Could you do a "studio month" much like the current "bedroom month"? Studios have unique challenges, it would be great to focus attention on them.

Nice to see these kinds of tiny spaces. I live in 200 sf, it takes creative problem solving! It's nice to see how other folks solve some of those problems.

"Gendered colors" are obnoxious. But "Pink Stinx" also bugs. Framing the issue in this way; that "girls deserve more" is sooo early feminism. Gender theory has evolved since then, in many nuanced ways. But the thing that stuck out the most for me when I first heard about this group: saying "girls deserve what boys have" still defines "what boys have" as "the best" rather than redefining the game alltogether in a way that works better for everyone. Cuz sexism stinks all around.

Hooray for the tiny house tour! I'm living in a 200sf studio myself, and I cringe every time I see a 1200sf house/apt referred to as "small".

Kitty, your rolling storage for your pants is amazing! Though I am creative about storage, that one is completely new to me. Simple & simply brilliant!

The bathroom fixtures are not my style, but I do wish I owned my place & could make such choices for myself. In the meantime, I am going to take your advice (& apt quotation) to heart.

After I saw Sun K. Kwak's "Enfolding 280 Hours" at the Brooklyn Museum (http://www.brooklynmuseum.org/exhibitions/sun_k_kwak/), I thought about using tape on my walls. I went with something else instead, but I still think it's an interesting idea. For those considering, note that even the "easy to remove tape" will take off paint if you leave it on for a long time.

Tasty! I made this last night, with a few substitutions.
It came out great. Light and fluffy, but also a bit earthy from the veggies. I'll probably make it again.
My substitutions:
- I used dried cranberries instead of raisins, b/c raisins in baked goods are not my fave
- I only had a little bit of maple syrup & wanted to save it for the frosting. I used 1 C white & 1 C brown sugar, based on a sugar substitution guide I found online (I actually reduced from their recommendation, which suggested 1 C sugar to .5 C maple syrup). It is a too sweet for me (I don't like real sweet cakes); If I did this again, I might even try half that on the sugar.
- In the frosting, I used Fage Greek Yogurt instead of cream cheese, and no powdered sugar. I liked it and I'd do it again.

If I make this again, I might try adding a small amount good quality chipotle chile to the batter; I think a touch of earthy spice would complement the sweet veggies & creamy frosting well.
