Please tell me more about your undercounter refrigerator! I am considering doing this in my own home. Is there a brand/configuration you recommend? We've been thinking of getting a fridge with a tiny freezer so we could still have access to ice upstairs. Your thoughts are much appreciated!

I have had a black leather sofa for a decade. I love that thing. Initially I thought was a bit much, but you know I don't even care anymore. It has proven its perfection so many times. We have spilled entire glasses of wine on it, scuffed it moving, and piled on two plus size humans, a meaty little dog, and an angry cat. Everything buffs out with saddle soap and black shoe polish. I actually don't think I would even consider owning anything else.

Shoes off seems like a waste of energy when my dog is usually running in the door after me or rolling around on the floor.

I think a menswear fabric, like a pinstripe, would look amazing with the wood. It would add a masculine edge and create more of a club look.

I highly recommend making your own wash powder. Its a ton cheaper, works amazingly, and you can choose your own smell! In a pinch I recently tried Method and I think its the best eco-friendly AND affordable detergent on the market.

I love it! I think its amazingly classy but not at all fussy. Please do share the origins of the rug. I can't stop looking at it!
