Good grief...if someone chooses to live in a large home, so be it. Why does everyone have to be so judgemental? I am amazed that anyone with a home over 1,000 sq. ft would be willing to put their home out there after these comments. Could it be you're a tad jealous? Get over it!

I found a 1952 US map in poor condition at a closing school in my district. My sister-in-law and I used Modge Podge to apply the map to the outside of a cabinet in my classroom. I love it, and so do my students.

I had to laugh when I saw this blog.EVERYTHING in my home has a story. When people come over for the first time and want a tour, it takes awhile to get through the house because I feel the need to tell the stories. I wouldn't change a thing. It's the stories that make my house a home.

Thank goodness for Post-It notes...they enable me to leave notes on the different quirky appliances when someone visits/housesits. It is only when I am leaving these notes that I realize I am in need of some help with these items....Most embarrassing: you have to use pliers to turn on the hot water in the master bath. Thankfully, I am the only one who uses it.

This year we told our Thanksgiving guests to bring their own Pyrex dishes to load up with leftovers to take home.
