I replaced a fixed light with a fan and had a difficult time. The basic installation was fine but I had trouble balancing the fan (making it spin evenly). But it would be worth a try.

I really like my Varde base cabinet and drawer unit. They seem very sturdy and I love the butcher block countertops.

However, I do not like the Varde well shelf. Despite being installed properly, the shelves have started to droop. The supports are still firmly attached to the wall, just the shelves are angling downward on their support screws.

Fortunetly the shelves are just a temporary thing until I save enough for wall cabinets.

It makes a good cup, is around $30 and uses regular grounds instead of annoying pods. I purchased mine at a b&m Target.

I had a friend paint over old dorm furniture. Just make sure you prime it before painting. A white would look good.

I use a kitty litter that turns to fine sawdust after it is used. On more than one occasion, when trying to empty the box into a trash bag, I have dropped the entire contents onto the carpeted floor. The shop vac and the Roomba (which has stopped working) usually takes care of the mess.
