Very nice! It also says you don't take yourself too seriously.

I'm getting my credit card out now as I type this....

It's nice but for me, but personally, I feel that bathroom lighting should be accessible with a wall switch. You wouldn't want to fish around for a switch with wet hands or have to turn it off every time after you wash up.

Maybe a lamp with one of those clapper on & off switches? Wait...then I'd get bored and clap myself to death if I'm stuck with no magazines or gameboys while sitting on the special chair.

Lava lamp anyone?

Holy crap...that main photo of the unit presented as shelving (with the wine glasses, etc.) gave me warm feelings. I remember when everyone's house had that type of shelving in one form or another (I was a wee lad in the seventies). I wish I had an extra wall in my loft just to have one so I can get that warm feeling whenever I look at it. I'm totally not kidding about this.

oops....I don't mean to post so soon, but this posting has made me realize that some of these cool baskets would make great planters.

I wouldn't put soil directly in them since they weren't made for plants, but they could probably hold smaller pots of plants.

It drives me nuts that there aren't too many affordable AND nicely designed plant pots out there.

The Canyon Wastebasket from Crate and Barrel looks just like the one I purchased from West Elm (which I love)

One thing I tend to do with my woody waste basket: I don't line it with plastic bags. I think the bags ruin the design. I just have to be careful not to throw anything that can decay and ruin the sides or make it smelly.

Great idea... this might be good even if you sleep alone. I woke up with a dead/numb arm one time after a very strange night (don't ask and I won't tell). Let's just say I couldn't even comprehend what end of my bed I was sleeping on.

AAARGH.... I answered 90s but it's totally now...

How? That iKea Poang armchair has been in their collection for years.

The shelving looks like on of the new sets they released this year--you can mix and match the sliding door colors.

I believe it's okay if it's the same type of object/artwork and that there's similar collections on display around the house.

If not, keep that area clean--avoid junk like convention giveaways or paperwork.

One tip for seeing if something doesn't look right in ANY part of your house: Take a photo of the room/area. When you look it the space as a photograph, you'll immediately see what doesn't seem right.

I bought this along with the Slim model but I immediately returned it unopened (Target).

I think it's probably great if you have a good-sized home, but for my loft, the Dyson Slim is just right for regular cleaning and quick pick ups.

I do love my Slim to death.

Congratulations to the winners! I recently saw the winning loft in the recent Elle Decor UK. Wish I was there for the presentation.

Ahh! More reasons for me to move to LA...I won't be there unless you move it to Saturday (returing for a second does of the Murakami exhibit).

I need to get one of the flower rainbow pillows.

Have fun at the get together... (sans moi).

I got used to my West Elm shedder...the shedding decreases with time but it's still there. I have a black Eames Surfboard coffeetable resting on it and you can imagine how it looks after a few days of videogame nirvana.

Suffice to say, I keep my Dyson around for quick cleanup if anyone calls in out of the blue for a visit.

Oh...I'm already in the habit of NEVER letting black clothing get near it. I once knelt on the rug with black jeans...

Oooh... My sleeping area has a bamboo vibe (I surround my bed with three bamboo trees).

Anyone know if the Target sheets come in white? I wash my sheets 1-2 times a week so I like being able clearly see any dirt/stains/coffee spots.

Great piece but I was actually thrown off by the first sentence... I read "sewer" in its other definition: "underground conduits for transporting wastes..."

I think my brain locked up for a few seconds trying to figure out what poop tunnels have to do with neat stuff.

They're cool. I would be less inclined to just leave my drinks around unattended and forgotten.

Cool...but there was something fishy (CG?) about it.

Very cool, nonetheless.

Nice observation--I was very afraid you were criticizing it for some visual design flaw or that it was only 99% biodegradable.

I try to live green but sometimes the judgement calls individuals make are just too much.

Criticizing the slippery-ness of a bottle is downright perfect and a good call.

It must have "slipped" past Method's testing stage.
