I think a return to the 1920s will be in vogue. When you think of all of the shows and movies coming out, it has to show up in design and fashion somehow. Downton Abby is moving into the 20s, Boardwalk Empire, and The Great Gatsby remake all make for a great setting for glamour, sparkle and art deco. It'll be the cat's meow. I have been using weheartit.com (We Heart It) for a couple of years. I have no idea how it's different from Pinterest, but I find that it's easy to use and I feel like I should be loyal and not jump on the bandwagon of a new trendy website. With that said, I don't see why you can't try to have balance between the two, cyber bookmarking and tactile inspiration boards. Why Pinterest Won't Be Replacing My Inspiration Wall |

Yay for Norfolk! I live closer to Ocean View, but love the downtown area. Amazing place to live since you get the best of city living, seaside living and great restaurants! The Green Onion is a great place on Colley. It's so nice to know that there are other AT readers in the area! Sarah's Guide to Ghent Norfolk, Virginia |

Artscape makes me miss Baltimore. I went to MICA, the school that surrounds the festival. It was great to see the work that local artists were doing as well as get inspiration. Apartment Therapy DC | Artscape: Art for the Masses Baltimore |

I work at a stationery store where I have been commissioned to do sketches of historic houses in the neighborhood for customers. It really is a great idea for stationery, especially if you live in a historic home and it adds a personal touch to your stationery. I am trying to start doing freelance work to offer my illustration services, so if anyone has any advise, I would greatly appreciate it. Apartment Therapy New York | Illustrations of Home |
