I used a blooming bath with my daughter this go around. It was great to use in the sink for the first few months then I just laid it in the tub after that. It was a bit expensive but I got it on one of those baby deal a day sites then resold it on ebay for almost as much as I paid for it. When not in use I just hung it from a suction cup in the shower.

Timbuk2 also makes a camera insert for their bags. You could easily slip it into your bag of choice though.
I vaguely remember the issue of foams off gassing and possibly causing damage to expensive camera equipment when I was researching making my own insert a few years back. I decided to err on the side of caution and just purchase an already made insert.

I got the ikea moose at a garage sale and my daughter loved it. I then picked up the plan toys arabian horse at amazon for a steal. http://www.amazon.com/Plan-Toy-Arabian-Rocking-Horse/dp/B000S5ZOVM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1307986887&sr=8-2

Both are great quality and both work really well. I just kept the plan toys one because i liked the way it looked more.

Love this. I so wish we could afford a place like this in JT. I lived there for about a year in 5th grade right near one of the entrances to the monument (go Monument Manor). My grandma actually still lives there.

Some day.

Why not just put a regular sized crib next to your own bed? This is what we did and our room is a bit smaller than yours.

We still have our daughter in a toddler bed next to our queen 3 years later and it serves us well. We will be moving soon but that is only because the toys are taking over our living room.

I think having our daughter in the room instead of in a closet or room away from us made it way easier in the middle of the night when she was still nursing. Plus, she is an awesome sleeper since she was in a room that i had to have access to when she was sleeping.

I love the vintage look of vinyl composite tile. Think school tile. Lots of colors available.

P.S. love your boxer too. I have one that looks just like that.

We share a room with our 3 year old daughter so once she started climbing out of her crib we got her a toddler bed.

Space is obviously and issue so this is the only choice we had. It was only $50 on amazon and the "wood" matches our vintage dressers so it all kinda blends.

We are moving soon and we are getting her a nice full size heywood wakefield utility headboard for her room. That way she has plenty of room for sleepovers in the future.

Love your house.

Is that leather chair in the living room vintage or new. It is exactly what my husband is looking for.

you could just use some foam core board cut to size and cover, paint, or just leave plain.

1 child 3 strollers.

I did a ton of research before my Nov 07 baby was born. I wanted to get it right the first time so I got the Uppa Baby Vista. I loved the fact that you could fold it with the seat attached unlike similar strollers around that time (bugaboos).

I also went with a smaller Maclaren Techno XT. Everyone raved about Maclarens but I just never found the love.

While I still have the Maclaren we hardly use it anymore. I got a great deal on a Quinny Zapp which is awesome. It folds up super small and glides like a dream. My only complaint is it doesn't have adjustable handles for my tall husband.

For the most part though I carry my almost 3 year old in good old fashioned soft structured baby carriers. Super convenient and helps me burn a few extra calories.
