for people who can't drill holes into their doors (either b/c they're renting or their doors are hollow), you could pick off the no-longer-sticky pad and replace it with a command adhesive strip. the hook will probably fall off again eventually, but you won't ruin the door.

i love how you continued the backsplash above the cabinets, and use the window blinds as a room divider for your bedroom. i can't put my finger on why the 2nd pic looks so busy...b/c it's very organized.

was this posted on AT a few weeks ago as a house tour? i remember those light up shelves and someone also making a comment then about the pic ledges being the same size as the frame. maybe swap the 3 short ledges out for the long ribba ledge. that way if you ever wanted to change the art pieces you'd have more options (e.g. one big art piece instead of 3 smaller ones). but if you like it that way then who cares what we think!

@robino, the pic ledges and lights around the bed are from ikea (ribba and gyllen respectively).

i agree with some ppl's comments (being catalogue-y and the rug's small), but overall i like the space. it seems like a very comfy place!

when you spread the cost out over 10 years then yes it seems inexpensive. however, not everyone can afford the $500 today to get it. and i don't think the store selling this would be very open to letting you pay 12 cents each day either. :)

i wish i were 5 again, sitting in those mini chairs, playing with those sculpture things. that way i wouldn't have to worry about how much a coffee table costs.

cb2 also has the puppy in white right now. i think it might be cheaper than the hive modern one.

in the first pic, what is that yellow thing coming out of the white "painting"? and very creative way to not have to paint behind your toilet!
