Yes, leepert- hate the pooled water in glasses. I think those tethers are sort of clever, but at $12.99 for only 4, it seems a little pricey. Plus, in the time I'd spend fooling with it to get the glass in place, I could just wash it by hand. Tether Your Glassware For Dishwasher Survival |

When I had my son, only one person brought us food. We were shocked, actually, and very lucky that my mom flew out to help us. While she was there she made comfort foods like king ranch chicken and pasta dishes. Warm, caloric foods were what I craved. Tips for Making a Meal for a New Mom |

I think it depends upon they type of party and whether other parents are dropping off, but a general rule might be if the child is old enough to sleep over at a friend's house, then he is old enough to be dropped off at a party? I think avoiding the use of unnecessary plastics, especially throw-away ones like baggies, is the best way to go. That said, I'm not going to throw out all of my tupperware containers (which are reuseable) and buy all new food containers. I have done binders like judydanielle. I got some cute, inexpensive ones at Target an slip the art pieces into page protectors.
