Love the kitchen! And thanks, AT, for showing a row home. I also live in a late Victorian Philly row-home, or part of one at least. I don't think these would work in my space, but nevertheless I love them--they look so cozy. Jayme's Row House RehabHouse Call |

Was the original road here brick? I live in an area with some original brick roads and sidewalks, and they are very attractive although they can trip you up when you're walking on them. If the original road were brick but it was decided that this was too expensive to replicate, I guess I can understand the decision to put a fake brick in. But otherwise I don't see the point. This isn't attractive enough on its own because it's so obviously fake. Cute & Coveted: Faux Cobblestone Street |

Several years ago I bought a red one, and although it still looks great, I am a little sick of it. I would much prefer to have a neutral sofa with colorful accents instead. I generally love lots of color, but I guess I just grew tired of such a big dose of red. If I can ever afford a new one, it will be neutral. BUT, if I found a colorful yet inexpensive 2nd hand sofa, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. Will I Regret a Pink Sofa? |

This tour really made me smile, and I personally don't see any puzzling design choices. I agree the kitchen wallpaper is excellent! I'm very impressed with everything, especially since the decor has to hold up to 2 kids--I don't have that limitation, and yet I like a lot of your stuff more than mine! I'm with Sherrybinnh. I'm an extreme introvert but have a job that requires me to be friendly and outgoing. That's fine--I'm a nice person and I want people to be happy--but it's exhausting for me. By the time I get home from work I definitely don't want to hear about your kids, pet, spouse, job or apartment. I live in an urban area and fortunately most people accept this. So long story short, unless you're a person who accosts reluctant people with tales about yourself, it's probably not about you. How Friendly Are Your Neighbors?
