I'm not sure how many Austinites there are out there amongst these commenters, but many homes in Austin fall under this boho chic/modern/vintage/unfinished vibe. I can't tell you how many Austin homes subscribe to this type of design! While I personally feel that it is an acquired taste, I can certainly appreciate the style and the conscious thought processes she went through to make all of her design decisions. I could easily step into her home and feel excited to be in that space because it is so different from the way that I decorate. Different isn't always bad :)

I also admire the fact that Tolly and Ross's passions fit so well in their backyard. I can't say that I know of anyone who has silks in their backyard. It's a good life when what you love is always at your fingertips. Thanks for letting us into your home, Tolly!
