I'm really enjoying Wunderlist. It's simple and clean and available on my desktop and phone.

It also allows you to manually order items in your to-do list, which is a feature that is missing from just about every other to-do list app.

I still smile when it emails reminders (Ahoy Matey!)

I've taken to saying "It's on like Donkey Kong, REGISTERED TRADEMARK OF NINTENDO CORPORATION OF AMERICA".

I still use a mousepad with an optical mouse on a wood desk.

I find that a mousepad quiets the sound of the mouse banging against the desk.

Another tip: take lots of pictures when you try to fix something.

A couple of years ago I did some work on our furnace and took pictures of every step, so I could put it back together properly when I was finished.

It's all TV related.
(and the morning after is mostly questions about the previous night's TV)

Please let me know if anyone has tips on where I can find a small sink (very short depth front-to-back).
We're still trying to find a sink that will fit in our tiny bathroom and having a tough time finding something that is small enough and not going to break the bank.
The closest we've found is a bar sink.

This is a great move for Sam Adams.

I always want to support them (big brewer with craft values - also a godsend during the hop shortage), but their beers are usually too sweet for me. I was really happy to see them try an IPA - especially a citrus-y version. It's bright, bitter and delicious.

adesalme2004: I'm surprised that they weren't doing well in Boston since Harpoon IPA (a similar citrus hop beer) does very well there.

We have typed instructions that tell how to turn on the TV and a list of channels the guest might want to watch.

The list of channels is helpful for the guest, but a little disturbing, like when you find out that your mom likes to watch Fox News in the morning.

If you poke around you can find instructions for a diy version.

I built one two years ago by taking apart one of those solar powered garden lights and sticking the electronics into a jar from IKEA.

The project only took about ten minutes, but it really impresses everybody who sees it.

This is clever, but dumb.
I don't know how many times I've plugged my shuffle into computer speakers. Can't do that if there is no play/pause button.

I love the Flip Clock, except that it only works in landscape (phone on its side). That means that you can't leave the phone in the dock, where it would stay powered up.

I can imagine that I would immediately go from thinking "Oh how cute" to "Stop playing with your [expletive] toys and [expletive]drive your [expletive] car".

Honk the horn to signal danger, wave to say thanks, but other than that simply following the rules of the road will suffice.

Super Hot.

Since buying my house three years ago, I've periodically looked for keyless/RFID locks and have been disappointed every time.

There are only two or three options and all cost upwards of $500.
Which is weird, because just about every office in America has one of them; you'd think the price would have dropped by now.

(Secretly, I want keyless locks so that I can do the Wally Bump. I can't find the Dilbert comic, but the joke was that Wally was thrusting his crotch at the doors to open them, not realizing that the card key in his pocket unlocked the door.)

Cheers,
MR
