CupofNimbus, I think the idea here is that there's a resurgence in cocktail-making all around the country, particularly of the unusual or artisanal (ack! I said it!) variety. So, these cocktail choices are going to be a little out of the ordinary, and they're meant to be, I think. Pearmelon, yes, of course that often happens! I think the difference in this case was that it was clearly not a result of them being behind or unprepared. There was nothing frantic about it.
