I know this is a few months old, but I just had to comment. First of all... I LOVE this. Second, to Ace, who wondered how they did this (Glue?) they screwed them together. I don't know about Home Depot, but I know at Lowes they will cut the pipe to the lenghth you want & re-thread the end of it so that it will still screw together. So, you just plan wisely and have all your measurements before you go to the store. Voila.

Grout doesn't have to be a pain. Use Spectralock grout (or some other Epoxy grout). They never need to be sealed, and are guaranteed to be stain proof. You still do have to clean it occasionally, but even if you neglect it for long ammounts of time it will come clean with minimal trouble. You can get the Spectralock @ Lowes. It is made by a company called Laticrete. There is one made by a company called Mapei also, but I can't think of what it is called off the top of my head. Just make sure it is an epoxy grout.

It is a tad harder to work with, and is quite a bit more expensive, but SO worth it on the ease of maintanence alone.

This would be great. Unfortunately it seems to me you would have to have a pretty perfect lawn to use this. My yard full of roots would never work with this.
