I LOVE #2. So cheerful, it makes me so happy. I want to paint my room the same color. Any suggestions? Paint Outside the Box: 10 Unconventional Ways to Paint Your Rooms |

I love the fact that this is both a kitchen and dining area. The bench is really cute, love the plants and I'm jealous you have a washer. Annie's Charming, Budget Berlin Kitchen Small Cool Kitchens 2012 |

As a teenager, I've had to spend a few summers sharing a futon in the living room with my brother. Poor guy, he was 22 and had to share the bed with his 14 year old sister. But it was only for the summer, and we didn't have a third person! The neighbors have 3 kids that I assume sleep in the living room. I think these arrangements are common in immigrant communities in nyc where the rent is very expensive. How Do I Furnish This Really Small Room? Good Questions |

Do you have any drawers? I once lived in an apt with an incredibly tiny kitchen, and there were no drawers and I had to keep my flatware and utensils in what should have been flower pots :) Eleanor's Warm Manhattan Kitchen Small Cool Kitchens 2012 |

Navy or slate do sound like good ideas. But you just moved in, and I would first paint the trims and doors and see how it looks. You mention that you want to remove the fence and redo the front lawn. How far in the future are you going to make these changes? The house will look very different then. Exterior Paint Colors with Light Gray Roof? Good Questions |

I think that the house itself is nice, but it doesn't feel like a home. I love the light, and I appreciate that fact that the homeowners are minimalist: lots of white, clean lines, no clutter. But this place looks bare and a little. The furniture is lovely, and I don't think they need to paint the walls. I don't like to have a lot of *stuff*either, and i try to keep my possessions to a minimum, so I admire them for either not owning a lot of stuff, or for having some serious storage. But sometimes it's nice to have around a nice picture frame, a book, a vase, anything that reminds us of a happy time (a gift from someone special, a travel souvenir), something that tells a bit about yourself. I understand that they are busy and probably are not done furnishing and decorating their home, but in the meantime, please get some plants or flowers, or maybe some fruit on your counter!
