I live in DC in 14th Street Heights so parking is not a bad issue. We have our own private driveway, although it is not covered. My main gripe was my very new car got keyed within the first couple months of living there. I wouldn't recommend keeping a new car in the city. Otherwise, having a car is great since I drive out of the city all the time.

I have huggable hanger knock offs from overstock.com. I love them, they are so much better than those ikea wooden hangers. They take up 1/3 the space of the ikea ones in my opinion and mine have hooks on them so you can hang another hanger on them and save space.

I have the expedit 4x4 and I love it. We use it to store our record collection and the records fit in it perfectly.

Like others have said the lack shelves tend to droop a bit down after a while. I probably wouldn't ever buy them again.

I like the Lerberg shelving units that ikea sells. They are cheap and good for small storage spaces.

Does anyone a good place to get just a mat board cut for a picture?

I am not very familiar with framing options and I just need a mat board cut to go around a poster that is an odd size. Any information about a good place or how much this would run me would be good. Thanks.

I remember doing laundry in college was brutal so I always ended up being super punctual about getting back to the machine or I would bring an assignment to read as I waited for my clothes to wash and dry. My rule was take it out if in the dryer, but never take out someone's wet clothes. Other people however would take your wet clothes and some people would remove your clothes and steal your time!
