Catrin, you must live right by me. Unless there's another house that just got renovated with a pop up and a yellow paint job. (Do you have the boxers parking at the blocked end of the street, training in the afternoons, punching bag and all?)

I went to grab a Car2Go parked behind my house and on that street was the bright yellow pop up. I don't know HOW I missed it before, but it definitely did wake me up.

Not quite my taste, but to each his own. As many have suggested, at least it's a landmark for directions!

Teal, my favorite color!

And this couldn't come at a more perfect time - I'm finally moving into a place on my own and get to decorate it with the color scheme I want and was thinking the living area would be mostly cool greys with accents of teal popping up.

My boyfriend and I found a brand new Ikea Klippan sofa through Craigslist for $75 but the red slipcover it came with doesn't match anything (and frankly, gives me a bit of a headache, it's so bright). We were thinking of buying this Bemz slipcover: http://www.bemz.com/index.php/page/shop/prod_id/2/model_id/41/pattern_id/102/ as we figured we could splurge since we found the sofa for so cheap....but then we saw that shipping is $77 and we just couldn't justify nearly a hundred dollars more than the sofa for the slipcover and shipping.

Now, we're thinking of just buying a natural colored slipcover from Ikea for $19 and dying it. Does anyone have any suggestions for dyes with which we could achieve that dark grey? Or are we better off bringing it somewhere to get it dyed and if so, does anyone know anywhere in the area who could dye the slipcover for us?? (Metro accessible is best!)

Thanks!

Oh, you beat me by five minutes Forestdweller!

The big difference, of course, is the people on Tony's duvet cover had their arms at their sides. I'm not sure if I'd call it cute as much as typical teenage boy thinking.

It did make for a funny image in Series One though when he and Sid were laying in bed.

Potomac, Virginia is an extinct town formerly located in Arlington County, annexed by Alexandria. The IKEA is in Woodbridge, adjacent to Potomac Mills Mall (formerly in the mall).

Not a comment on the IKEA ads, I know, but if you're going to blog in/about the area, at least get the area names right.

What about those shades in the very first picture and again where she's sitting at her desk? Maybe it was just me, but I wanted to know where I could get those when I saw the movie.

Anyone know who made them??
