Oh my goodness - can we please see more of this house?

Hi everyone!

Thanks for the great advice. We have so much to consider! The cabinet frames seems to be quality wood, but the doors are not. And we do have plans to get rid of the backsplash. We haven't moved in yet - this is still the previous owner's furniture. Our plan for the moment is to get moved in and then make changes in baby steps. Definitely a new backsplash, a furniture-looking island, and then possible paint for the cabinets.

The room is open to the dining room and living room, so our plan is to start with some color there, and then see what will coordinate well.

I tried out the adult version of this chair, and it was extremely uncomfortable. The seat is hard and unforgiving unless you'll only be seated for a few minutes.

Can the Mini Tour be of a public space, or does it need to be from a home environment? Thanks!

I agree - it's definitely to hold up the bar of a baby activity mat. Good luck finding a use for it in your kitchen, though. I'm thinking cookie cutter.

where did you get that hanging lamp? Great room!

That is actually a great idea! I didn't plan for two chairs, and we ended up brining in a beatup old director's chair so I could have visitors in the nursery while I nursed. Kudos to your husband for thinking ahead!

I don't have advice to add, but I did want to say good for you for asking. Seriously, prepartion is everything in these situations. I hope you have some fun!
