Alvhem is a Swedish real estate agency and this apartment has been staged. It looks great but the owners don't live like this.

I couldn't agree with you more Denver80203. Those things tend to put you in horrible and very dangerous situation sooner or later. Especially since they break easily and are notoriusly hard to hold on to.

39520expat, it's their guestroom so nobody sleeps there regularly . If it was me, I'd worry about pulling the Tolomeo lamp down by the cord. :-)

When you have problems like this you should get down on your knees and thank the gods because you are rich and privilegded.

Denacho, the table looks like a Superellips knock off. The original is very expensive but you can find cheap copies everywhere or have a carpenter make one for you at a very low cost.

These pictures reminds me of my old apartement on Prinsgatan just around the corner from Alvhem. It looked exactly the same except the floors where blood red.

I use it every day to grind chillies and other spices. It's easy to use and easy to clean and things won't end up on the floor like with a mortar.

I talked to a very heavyset polosh waitress some time ago. She asked me if I liked the falafel, I did. We started talking about vegetarians, vegans and how food has become a problem these days. It seems like everybody has issues and she told me she'd given up. It's allergies, Atikins, chicken, no chicken, vegan, the "I don't eat red pepper, just yellow" people...

"These days I only serve chips and booze. Nobody's allergic to that."
