does anyone know where i can find those silhouette pillows?

My kitchen window used to face (across an alley) the national headquarters of a major political party that I do not support. Let's just say that I - and they - had some good-natured fun with each other through our window displays during the 1996 presidential election season....

No suggestions on the theme just yet, but mercy, that "Chair and Dead Wife" is a disturbing photo...

I heard an interesting segment on NPR about how root-bound these Christmas rosemary bushes generally are - if it's worth the hassle to you, you might want to repot in something bigger to help it last indoors.

vertigo, I've had good luck recently at www.fabricsandpapers.com - they have a great selection and incredibly helpful staff.

I have a question, too - does anyone remember a posting on AT (sometime within the last year) that included a silvery metal coat tree? I think it was made by the resident being profiled, and there was some discussion of their love of organic forms (the coat tree had leaves for "pegs," as I recall). I think the owner/designer may have been Spanish, perhaps?

You know, I think I might just do the 31.5"W Billy and be glad to have a little "air," versus every square inch chock-a-block. It's probably only 25 or so books that you "lose" storage space for, but you'll gain much being able to get the Billy case for the vast majority of the rest so quickly and inexpensively.

Maybe just install some hooks or something in the "extra" space if you're committed to maximizing storage on that wall?
