Lynn, which couch did you choose? I liked both the corona and reese but decided against each for different reasons. I have never found a replacement.

Two big regrets, even after 30 years: putting down hardwood floors sequentially and "waiting" to replace the flat family room roof with a peaked roof. The estimate to finish the family room, a 15 by 18 foot space is $6,000 because the flooring will now have to be made to order and the adjacent floors stained to ensure a good match. The roof replacement is out of the question as we have added on to another part of the house and blending the two roofs is an architectural nightmare. PLAN AHEAD!
No regrets: I have always had off-white couches and carpets and still do! No pets, just two children and a husband.

best advice given here: move in, live with it for a while, and then make your changes as you learn what works and what drives you crazy. Learn how the appliances function, the floor plan flows, and how much sunshine enters the room. No sense charging full speed ahead only to do it over--been there!

For me, there is nothing too pretty to use in the kitchen. Why not delight the eye and the hand while drying the dishes!
