Do your research, put a note on the lease allowing you to get out if there are tenant issues based on this "warning." I would however take it with a grain of salt. We have several dogs in our office and we like the industrial look of the crates so we use them along with file drawers to create work tables and desks. The dogs have a spaces out of the way for snoozing and we have whatever size surfaces we need by re-configuring the options. Love the chalkboard wall - I just hate when friends say it's passe - it's so functional how can it be, ever. That just made me so happy! Some times I see the tours and they have great stuff, beautifully curated and displayed just so. Sure I find the inspiration but what Drew has shows me is that someone lives a real life. I love that any one of those displays could get out of hand. Came to Chicago from Seattle so I have had the best of both worlds! I am excited too, even those long, dim days waiting for snow are sweet. I love putting the garden to bed, baking/cooking with squash and pears, knowing the cats won't be so eager to run around outside, sweaters and boots, raking leaves, shoveling snow while soup is on the stove.
