Adorable. It's such an easy project that it almost seems like it would be cheating to make something so cute with so little effort!

Move the art above the couch up a little. It looks weird as is.

And yes, you definitely need to paint the walls. I think a medium gray would be nice. And certain shades of pinkish purple look great with both orange and blue (as in the painting).

Dress the windows with shades made from some sort of modern, funky fabric.

Get area rugs -- you neeeeeed the rugs because the room looks so random as though there aren't any define areas.

As for coffee/side tables -- if you can find something cheap with good bones, get it and then paint it... deep gray? Even bright orange if it's a very small piece like a side table in a cool shape.

As for the lamp -- no need for it to be even remotely special. Just get something plain and put a nice shade on it.

I had a hard time deciding whether or not I like this, but eventually decided I do. They look almost ghostly though -- not breezy.

The rug is beautiful even if not to everyone's taste. I'm surprised people are so divided about it.

Very adorable, but I would only use it for tissues -- definitely not toilet paper.

That's gorgeous. I'm going to have to show it to my partner, who is horrible about getting large tech items and letting them be ugly focal-points.

It puts people ill at ease, and yet I find it very interesting. Dali's melting clocks also put me ill at ease... they're creepy... and I love them. I like this cat.

The top floor looks like it's lit only by a tv and low lights.

We have a light pink somewhere between the colors in the third and fourth pictures in our living room. It looks fantastic and not at all... the way you'd imagine a pink room to look?
