one pillow per sleeper, and on the couch or chair one per person, max. i really cannot see the allure of furniture covered halfway with cushions. i probably just suffer from pillow fright, but that's how it is ;-)

i am actually the weird kind who goes without any patterns in my rooms. i have colours, but only solids.

ouch. i am afraid i would need sunglasses all day. very dark sunglasses … or perhaps a sleep mask. ;-)

way too busy for my taste.

i just did this in January :-D freed a wall-high bookshelf, and have now ten white binders with big numbers on the back.(The binders were A4 - i am in Europe - and have transparent pockets on the back and front so it was easy to slip the printed big numbers in).
i kept the inserts, too, in between the storage pages.
And i now can reach the movies that were way too high to get at without a ladder …

… and for delg23, the desk is Ikea, too. The legs are Vika Artur.

i live in Hamburg/Germany, and we are using the row of mailboxes in the hallway to display stuff we do not want anymore. if things are too big they go on the floor in front of the wall the mailboxes are on, with a sign saying, free. it works nicely. books, kitchen stuff, CDs … i have left or picked up a lot of things there.

sorry if i am being blind, but where is the green patterned side chair?

bookshelf is Ikea Expedit, i think.
