It's such a great feeling to come back to a clean home. I always do these too because I know when I come back I'll have to unpack, put things away, and also clean my dirty laundry from my vacation. It's nice to not worry about extra chores. Besides all that, we usually also keep the blinds half shut and a couple lamps on for safety reasons. Are those all framed pictures of famous people? I've never thought of doing that, but that's a really good idea. I would love to decorate my home with pictures of famous people that I respect, that I think are wise, or that I think are really talented.
